About me
Dr. Kathy Gombos is a member of the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP), Principal Recovery Network (PRN), and Principal of Sandy Hook Elementary School in New Town, Connecticut. Appointed in 2013, Dr. Gombos has led the Sandy Hook Elementary School community for the past 11 years. Previously, Dr. Gombos was a principal at Bethel Public Schools and an educator at Bridgeport Public Schools in Connecticut. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Seton Hall University, her Master of Arts in Counseling and her Doctorate in Educational Leadership.
