Courtney Desilet is a nationally recognized survivor leader and public safety executive with 20 years of experience advancing responses to human trafficking, child sexual exploitation, and domestic violence. She brings a uniquely multidisciplinary perspective shaped by careers in law enforcement, national nonprofit leadership, survivor advocacy, and systems change.

A former law enforcement investigator and award-winning leader at the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, Courtney has led large-scale child protection initiatives, strengthened multidisciplinary partnerships, and advanced trauma-informed, victim-centered responses to emerging forms of exploitation, including technology-facilitated abuse. Her leadership is recognized for driving operational excellence, cross-sector collaboration, and innovative solutions that improve outcomes for victims and survivors.

As a published author, national trainer, and strategist, Courtney advises organizations, develops professional education, and contributes to policy and legislative initiatives that strengthen prevention, identification, response, and accountability.
